Are you an ambitious professional with a technical mindset looking to build a long-term career with a global industry leader in manufacturing? Our client is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to join a growing team in Mississauga. This is a permanent, 100% on-site opportunity designed for someone who wants to evolve from a specialized support role into a future leader within a premier organization.
...
As an Inside Sales Specialist, your daily workflow will involve managing approximately 25–30 high-priority emails, performing precise order entry, and answering stock and inquiry requests. Because our client specializes in complex, non-"plug-and-play" products, you will receive extensive training to understand technical designs and specifications. This is an investment in your future; the company is "adding to the bench" and looking for a candidate who views sales as a career path, not just a job. You will be working for a leader that values stability and internal professional development.
While this Mississauga location operates primarily in English, being bilingual is considered a significant bonus for future growth within a North American network.
At Randstad, we aren’t just recruiters; we are experts in the sales and business administration landscape. We partner with top-tier employers—world-class manufacturers of transmission components, tools, and pulleys—to find "unicorn" talent: individuals who possess the right drive, attitude, and technical aptitude to grow alongside the business.
Advantages
• Competitive salary range: $55,000-65,000 depending on experience.
• Comprehensive health benefits package starting after 6 months of employment.
• Secure retirement future with an RSP Profit Sharing program at 5% of your annual salary.
• 2 weeks vacation for the first 3 years.
• Robust 5–6 week training program including online tutorials and hands-on shop experience.
• Permanent, stable role within a thriving manufacturing environment that values internal promotion.
• Safety first: The company provides all necessary equipment, including a safety shoe allowance.
Responsibilities
• Manage the central sales email inbox, responding to 25–30 technical inquiries and purchase orders daily.
• Perform accurate and efficient order entry into the Microsoft AX system to ensure seamless production cycles.
• Coordinate "made-to-order" quotes by interpreting client requirements and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot order issues and provide real-time updates on stock levels and shipping timelines.
• Collaborate closely with the production team and the manufacturing facility to ensure product accuracy.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in sales, business administration, or customer service (retail experience is welcomed for junior candidates).
• High level of ambition and a "go-getter" attitude with a desire for long-term career advancement.
• Excellent written communication skills for managing high-volume B2B email correspondence.
• For tenured candidates: Experience in technical sales, counter sales, or parts (e.g., hydraulics, bearings, or fittings) is a plus.
• Commitment to a 100% on-site work schedule (Monday–Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm) in Mississauga.
• Reliable transportation to the Mississauga facility.
• Experience using Microsoft AX and Excel are a bonus.
