Work Style: Hybrid – 2 days per week. Candidate will need to be in office full-time during any training period. Then will switch to the hybrid work style

Responsibilities
Client Communication: Follow up with both Plan Sponsors and Plan Members to get completed documentation and answer questions about the claims process.
Initial Outreach: Make an outreach call to clients within 24 hours of receiving a new claim.
Information Verification: Use phone calls and emails to clarify any missing, unclear, or discrepant information.
Eligibility & Setup: Review all documents and contracts to confirm eligibility requirements are met and set up the claim accurately in the system.
Claim Adjudication: Directly manage and adjudicate short-term claims (known as "Quick Pay" claims).
Claim Triage: Transfer longer or more complex claims to a Disability Case Manager for full adjudication.
Administrative Tasks: Issue declination letters as needed and file all documents properly.
Qualifications
Bilingualism: Must be fluent in both French and English.
Experience: A minimum of one year in a customer service environment. Experience in disability insurance is an asset.
Skills:
Ability to understand complex instructions and basic contract language.
Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
Strong typing, data entry, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Excellent phone etiquette and client service skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities.
Security: Must be able to obtain and maintain Reliability Status security clearance.
