The Bilingual Trade Services Administrator must be a master of execution, ensuring that all financial transactions are completed within specified SLAs. Bilingualism Requirements:
As this is a national role supporting clients and partners across Canada, the Bilingual Trade Services Administrator must be fully fluent in both English and French. You will be required to communicate with [clients/partners/employees] who are located outside of your home province on a daily and regular basis. Professional proficiency in both languages is essential for resolving trade rejections and providing high-level support to credit unions and internal departments.

Responsibilities
• Ensure daily settlement totals for mutual funds and GICs match the central depository records.
• Maintain daily settlement reports and request money movement for transaction settlements.
• Monitor rejections for trades and transactions, identifying issues and performing system corrections.
• Advise Credit Union partners on required corrections to ensure seamless transaction flows.
• Process GIC purchases, settlements, reconciliations, and maturities with high accuracy.
• Process Pool fund trades and settlements within strictly defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Review and complete both financial and non-financial adjustments for client accounts.
• Communicate with Mutual Fund Companies via Letter of Indemnity, email, or phone to resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to queries and faxes from Fund Companies, Credit Unions, and internal departments in a timely manner.
• Support external and internal partners by recommending efficient processing methods for issue resolution.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Fully bilingual (written and spoken) in English and French is mandatory.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience within the Operations team of a Financial Services firm.
• Post-secondary education in finance, business administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or IFIC Operations course is a strong asset.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to company and regulatory standards.
• Flexibility to work EST hours (for Vancouver-based candidates).
• Self-motivated and results-driven with a proven ability to work well under pressure.
Skills:
• Expert-level attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reconciliation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet strict daily financial deadlines.
