Responsibilities
-Generate and issue accurate, timely client invoices in accordance with service agreements and firm billing guidelines
-Monitor Work in Progress (WIP) and ensure accurate billing based on time entries and client arrangements
-Collaborate with internal teams, including legal professionals and finance, to resolve billing discrepancies or inquiries
-Maintain organized billing records and supporting documentation for audits and internal reviews
-Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices, WIP, and payment terms in a professional and timely manner
Qualifications
-2+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience, preferably in a legal or professional services firm
-Proficient in handling Work in Progress (WIP), time entry review, and client-specific billing requirements
-Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with legal billing or ERP systems (e.g., Aderant, Elite, Clio)
