Currently looking to hire a Blender/Machince Operator in the Langley area for an exciting new opportunity for someone like yourself, offering stability, and great pay compensation. This job requires heavy lifting as you will need to move and try out a variety of colors and paint blends. The Paint Mixer role gives you a fantastic seat in an expanding and very well-known company that invests in its employees. They are looking for someone seeking temp to perm role that wants to expand in their current skillset and knows a decent amount about Color-Theory! Some experience in this industry is preferred but not required, they offer extensive training. A breathing respirator will be provided for this role to protect you from paint fumes, as this facility is all about the health and safety of its workers. Shift Times: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday to Friday - with a half-hour lunch.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for mixing paint colors and blends
- Create new and exciting colors and formulas
- Responsible for some computer work and planning
- The paint drums can be heavy, so you will be required to lift at least 50lbs
- Work alone or as a team member to meet deadlines and order fulfillment
- Work with a variety of departments all working for one common goal
- Data entry and Inventory Control
Qualifications
- Not transit accessible, need own means of transportation
- 1-2 years of experience working in a like-minded facility
- Wearing the proper PPE to protect yourself is important to you
- Some experience in paint mixing or have worked in a similar position in the past
- Trainable and are eager to improve your skills
- Lift up to 50lbs throughout the day
- Looking for long-term opportunity with a future in this industry
- Knowledge of Color Theory and Basic Math
