Responsibilities
• Reading and following complex technical drawing instructions for the assembly and building of high-quality boats.
• Using a variety of hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks within strict time restraints.
• Ensuring each boat is assembled according to exact standards of workmanship and meeting all quality requirements.
• Following the direction and instructions of supervisors and team leaders while working both independently and collaboratively.
• Attaining daily quality and delivery targets through standardized work processes in manufacturing & logistics.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures regarding safety and quality protocols.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area to optimize production efficiency.
• Completing necessary production paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Collaborating with engineers and supervisors to troubleshoot assembly challenges.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
Qualifications
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Capability of lifting a minimum of 25 kg (55 lbs) on a regular basis.
• Must possess your own set of basic hand tools. (The list will be shared (drills, grinders, wrenches, etc.).)
• Steel-toe safety footwear is required for all shifts.
• Experience in manufacturing & logistics, construction, or a similar industrial environment is an asset.
• Previous experience in carpentry, electrical, gas, or plumbing is considered a strong advantage.
• Ability to work in Delta, BC and commute for a 6:00 am start time.
• Commitment to maintaining ISO 9001 quality standards throughout the assembly process.
