Responsibilities
• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions within the primary accounting software system.
• Balance and reconcile complex intercompany loans and ledger accounts regularly.
• Process full-cycle accounts payable (AP) invoices, perform three-way matching, and schedule vendor payments.
• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, payment posting, and monitoring aging reports.
• Reconcile corporate credit cards, bank statements, and other financial accounts on a regular basis.
• Process dealer and salespeople commissions and audit dealer rebates accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor corporate expenses to promptly identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies or irregularities.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial preparation and liaise directly with external accountants or auditors.
• Maintain highly organized physical and digital financial records and supporting compliance documentation.
• Ensure strict compliance with applicable local financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
Qualifications
• Proven experience working as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Clerk, or in an equivalent full-cycle accounting role.
• Strong proficiency with accounting software; hands-on knowledge of Spire software is highly advantageous.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, with demonstrated proficiency utilizing pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
• Previous practical experience processing payroll and sales commissions is considered a strong asset.
• Solid working knowledge of local sales tax regulations and standard corporate financial compliance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple shifting priorities.
