Position Title: Brake Press & Shear Operator
Location: Aldergrove, BC
Permanent Fulltime Opportunity
Schedule: Monday-Friday + occasional Saturday
Shifts: 7:00AM-3:30PM
Starting Wage: $25.00 + (based on level of experience)
Mechanical aptitude is considered an asset.
Previous experience in a fast paced manufacturing or production setting required
Vehicle is required as shift timing is not transit friendly
You are legally permitted to work Fulltime in British Columbia

Responsibilities
Set up and operate brake press and shearing machines to cut and form metal components
Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine job requirements
Select and install appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings as needed
Inspect finished products to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure safe and efficient operation
Follow safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications
Prior experience operating brake press and shearing equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with metal fabrication processes
Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
Reliable transportation (location not transit-friendly)
Legally authorized to work full-time in British Columbia
Physical and Working Conditions:
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, and perform tasks involving the use of hands and arms for lifting, handling materials, and operating equipment
Regularly lift and move up to 25 lbs, and occasionally lift and move items up to 50 lbs (e.g., steel components, coils, and packaging materials)
Work is performed in a warehouse and yard environment with exposure to dust, noise, moving equipment, and varying weather conditions
Physically demanding role requiring consistent manual handling and movement throughout the shift
Must follow all workplace safety protocols and use equipment as instructed
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection is required and provided by the employer
CSA-approved steel toe boots are mandatory for this position
