Responsibilities
Setup & Operation: Setting up and operating brake press machinery to bend, form, and shape metal components according to specifications.
Blueprint Reading: Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine appropriate machine settings and tooling.
Quality Control: Inspecting finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, protractors, gauges) to ensure they meet strict quality standards.
Maintenance: Performing basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on the machine to ensure optimal performance.
Safety: Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and keeping the work area clean and organized.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience operating a Brake Press (CNC or Manual) is required.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings confidently.
Measurement Knowledge: Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and standard gauges.
Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
Reliability: Strong attendance record and reliable transportation to Stratford, Ontario.
