This position runs Monday to Thursday from 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM. Base pay is $26.00 to $29.00 per hour, plus a $1.00 to $2.00 per hour shift and experience premium (earning up to $31.00/hr) on a temp-to-perm basis.

Responsibilities
Set up, adjust, and operate CNC and hydraulic brake presses to form precision sheet metal parts.
• Select, install, and align proper tooling, dies, and gauges according to engineering drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and technical schematics to verify bend dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspect first-off and production parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and protractors.
• Perform routine preventative equipment maintenance and maintain a clean, safe workstation following health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
Proven experience setting up and operating brake presses in a metal fabrication setting.
• Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical blueprints, drawings, and shop orders.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments (calipers, height gauges, protractors).
• Strong mechanical aptitude, mathematical skill, and precise attention to detail.
1–3+ years of brake press operator experience in industrial manufacturing or metal fabrication.
• Full availability for the night shift schedule (Mon–Thu, 5:30 PM–4:00 AM).
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots required.
