We are currently seeking a dedicated Brake Press Operator on behalf of our client, a respected leader in the manufacturing industry. In this vital role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating brake press machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and components according to precise engineering blueprints and specifications. Your expertise will be crucial in producing high-quality parts that meet strict quality standards. This role is a cornerstone of the production process, and your contribution as a Brake Press Operator will directly impact the success of the final product. This position offers a fantastic schedule of four 10-hour days, giving you a three-day weekend every week! As a key member of the production team, the Brake Press Operator will work with state-of-the-art machinery and collaborate with a team of skilled professionals. Responsibilities
Set up, program, and operate CNC and manual brake press machines to form and bend metal parts.
Read and interpret detailed engineering blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine project specifications.
Select, install, and align correct tooling and dies required for each specific job.
Perform quality control inspections on finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and protractors to ensure they meet exact tolerances.
Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to maintain part quality and consistency throughout production runs.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the brake press and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Troubleshoot issues with machinery and production processes, identifying and resolving problems to minimize downtime.
Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Handle raw materials and finished components safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation as required.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum of 2 years of direct experience operating a brake press machine in a manufacturing setting.
A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are mandatory, as the location is not accessible by public transportation.
Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and a proven safety record.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
