Our client offers a robust 44-hour work week with a schedule designed for a great work-life balance: Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and a short shift on Friday from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Whether you are an intermediate or expert Brake and Shear Operator, your pay rate will directly reflect your experience and the quality of your output, ranging from $20.00 to $30.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
• operate CNC or manual press brake and shear machines for metal and aluminum fabrication.
• Perform precision cuts and bends on various gauges of sheet metal and aluminum.
• Inspect finished workpieces for dimensions and quality using micrometers, calipers, and squares.
• Adjust machine settings and tool offsets to maintain tolerances and ensure high-quality output.
• Coordinate with the manufacturing & logistics team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
• Document production activities and report any equipment malfunctions or material defects immediately.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Brake and Shear Operator or in a similar role within manufacturing & logistics.
• Demonstrated expertise in metal and aluminum fabrication techniques.
• Ability to commit to a 44-hour work week in Kitchener, Ontario.
• Strong safety consciousness and adherence to PPE requirements.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver metal sheets as required by the role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in metal fabrication is an asset.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential for this high-energy position.
