- Oversee the entire branch operation, taking full responsibility for deposit generation, mortgage lending, and sales of all banking products.
- Develop and execute the bank's marketing strategy and business plan to expand the customer base and market share.
- Direct, control, and manage branch operations in an efficient manner to ensure high-quality service is delivered to all clients.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients and local community associations to foster loyalty and growth.
- Lead, train, and mentor branch staff, including Personal Bankers and Customer Service Representatives, to foster a harmonious and productive work environment.
- Ensure strict compliance with all banking regulations, acts, and internal policies, protecting the bank's interests at all times.
- Prepare and manage the branch's financial budget and business plans, providing regular performance reports to senior management.
- Act as the Branch Security Officer, overseeing and controlling all aspects of branch security.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement to streamline work processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide expert guidance and consulting on treasury operations and the development of new banking products.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership and management skills with previous supervisory experience in a banking environment.
- In-depth knowledge of retail banking services, operational processes, and regulatory policies.
- Strong business development and sales acumen, with a talent for identifying and pursuing new market opportunities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with professional fluency in both English and Mandarin.
- Excellent collaboration and team-building abilities, capable of fostering a positive and cohesive work atmosphere.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective business plans.
- High level of integrity and a thorough understanding of compliance and risk management within the finance & accounting industry.
