In this strategic, high-visibility role, you will serve as the primary bridge between journey partners, product owners, architects, and engineering teams. Operating within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), you will translate complex business needs into detailed technical user stories using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies. You will work extensively with both legacy Mainframe customer books-of-record and modern RESTful APIs (Postman), managing end-to-end requirements traceability, conducting gap analysis, and guiding solution testing to support core customer data platforms.
Duration: 12-Month Contract (with high potential for extension)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days per week on-site at the corporate office, 1 day remote)

Responsibilities
Requirements Elicitation & BDD User Stories: Translate complex business objectives into clear, actionable technical specifications and JIRA user stories using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies and clear acceptance criteria.
Mainframe & API Data Analysis: Perform hands-on data inquiry, profiling, and maintenance across Mainframe screens and API endpoints (using Postman) to evaluate system constraints and integration pathways.
End-to-End Traceability & Testing Support: Own requirements traceability through design, build, and deployment; partner with QA teams to translate use cases into comprehensive test conditions, gap analyses, and expected results.
Stakeholder Alignment & Technical Translation: Act as the primary technical liaison, translating business needs into technical concepts for developers and explaining technical constraints in clear business language to stakeholders.
Governance & Agile Delivery: Participate actively in SAFe Agile ceremonies, support change management planning, maintain technical documentation in JIRA and Confluence, and mentor junior team members on systems best practices.
Qualifications
Senior BSA Experience: 8+ years of progressive professional experience as a Business Systems Analyst / Technical BSA in complex enterprise environments.
Mainframe Systems Depth: Hands-on experience inquiring and maintaining data across Mainframe systems and legacy screens (Must-Have).
API & Postman Proficiency: Hands-on experience testing, inquiring, and validating data using APIs and Postman (Must-Have).
Agile & BDD Mastery: Strong experience operating within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) paired with practical expertise using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) for writing user stories.
Tooling & Gap Analysis: Advanced proficiency using JIRA and Confluence for backlog management alongside a strong track record performing technical gap analysis and system data validation.
Soft Skills: Engineering mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong stakeholder management skills, and outstanding written/verbal communication capabilities.
Preferred Assets & Nice-to-Haves
Domain experience working with enterprise Customer Data / Book of Record systems.
Prior technical experience within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity and development tools (Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot).
