Responsibilities
Requirements Documentation: Develop and maintain high-quality Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) for the core Capital and Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) teams.
SDLC Collaboration: Partner closely with development and QA teams on Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), feature test cases, and release artifacts.
Data Analysis & Production Support: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production data quality and reporting issues.
Agile Enablement: Collaborate with Product Owners to support Agile ceremonies, maintain backlogs, and produce methodology artifacts.
Qualifications
Primary Skill:
- MS SQL Server
Secondary Skill:
- Oracle SQL / PL/SQL
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Seniority: 8+ years of total experience working as a Business Analyst in complex enterprise environments.
- Domain Expertise: 5+ years of experience in financial services, capital markets, and regulatory risk reporting, with strong financial acumen in Prime Brokerage.
- Data Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency and strong hands-on experience querying databases using SQL Server or Oracle.
- Agile & SDLC: Deep understanding of the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Communication & Execution: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to interface effectively with both technical teams and demanding business stakeholders across locations and time zones.
- Resilience: A flexible, "can-do" attitude with the ability to manage pressure, conflict, and rapidly changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with reference data for capital markets.
- Experience writing custom scripts or using analytical tools for deeper data analysis.
- Exposure to modern productivity tools like Microsoft Copilot or Jupyter Notebooks.
