As a Business Analyst II, you will bridge the gap between technical migration scripts, content management frameworks, and operational quality controls. Operating within a hybrid work model in Toronto, you will perform meticulous side-by-side content comparisons, conduct functional site testing, validate tables, attachments, and procedural steps, and document system defects within a large project environment. This position demands a critical thinker with strong analytical skills who can independently identify missing content, troubleshoot scripting issues, and ensure seamless platform transitions.

Responsibilities
Compare legacy intranet content against migrated SharePoint web pages to ensure complete data integrity, layout accuracy, and functional alignment.
Verify that all embedded media, tables, file attachments, and hyperlinked documentation have transferred correctly without data loss or corruption.
Test new intranet site functionality, user navigation, search tools, and interactive page features to ensure seamless performance.
Review, validate, and audit procedural documentation, operational steps, and content sequencing to prevent downstream operational impacts.
Support migration readiness activities by identifying, isolating, and troubleshooting scripting or rendering errors.
Log, track, and document software defects, missing content, and functional anomalies clearly using standard defect management tools.
Re-test resolved defects and validate fixed content pages prior to final migration sign-off.
Collaborate with technical migration leads, developers, and content owners to report challenges and communicate defect resolution progress.
Maintain clear tracking logs, migration validation checklists, and quality assurance reports.
Qualifications
Core Technical & Validation Requirements
Professional BA & QA Experience: Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in business analysis, content validation, and technical software testing.
Content Management Systems: Demonstrated expertise working with OpenText TeamSite and Microsoft SharePoint platforms.
Content Validation & Defect Tracking: Strong background in QA validation, side-by-side content auditing, functional testing, and defect reporting.
Language & Communication: Strong command of the English language (both written and verbal) to document issues clearly and communicate challenges.
Education: Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Preferred Experience & Technical Assets
Migration Projects: Prior experience participating in large-scale intranet, CMS, or enterprise data migration initiatives.
Front-End Technical Skills: Basic knowledge or working experience with HTML coding and web content editing.
Industry Experience: Previous experience working within a large financial institution or corporate enterprise environment.
Soft Skills & Delivery Attributes
Critical Thinking & Attention to Detail: Exceptional meticulousness and analytical capabilities to identify minor layout errors, missing data, or broken workflows.
Independent Execution: Proven ability to work independently, manage daily validation quotas, and take initiative when discovering defects.
