Responsibilities
• Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business objectives and document detailed business requirements.
• Analyze and document current business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Develop comprehensive business cases outlining costs, benefits, and risks of proposed solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (including IT, operations, and management) to ensure alignment of business and technology solutions.
• Create functional specifications and user stories, ensuring they are clear, complete, and feasible for implementation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Commerce or an equivalent field
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience working as a business analyst
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience documenting/conducting process analysis and re-engineering
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience writing requirements, use cases and user stories
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in working on projects in agile environment
Please note, a preference will be given to candidates who have experience with the Public Sector Manitoba.
