In this senior consulting role, you will lead end-to-end business analysis for complex, transformational, cross-functional initiatives across Enterprise Payments. Working in close partnership with lines of business, technology delivery teams, operations, and governance/control groups, you will elicit, analyze, and manage detailed functional requirements while keeping a strong customer-centric focus. You will proactively manage requirement risks and dependencies, support change management and quality assurance efforts, and ensure all deliverables align with enterprise project governance standards.
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Full 1-Year Engagement)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days per week on-site at corporate offices)

Responsibilities
End-to-End Requirements Leadership: Lead the elicitation, documentation, management, and traceability of business requirements across the entire project lifecycle for enterprise payments initiatives.
Risk & Dependency Governance: Proactively identify and manage requirement risks, issues, assumptions, technical constraints, and cross-project dependencies.
Stakeholder & Technology Alignment: Collaborate with technology partners to provide business recommendations for system design and architecture, ensuring alignment with core enterprise payment strategies.
Change Management Deliverables: Contribute to organizational change readiness by executing gap analyses, stakeholder impact assessments, and change adoption planning.
Quality Assurance Support: Assist QA teams in developing test strategies, test plans, and business test scenarios, while actively participating in defect triage and resolution.
Mentorship & Process Improvement: Support team skill development by sharing knowledge, mentoring junior colleagues, and ensuring adherence to enterprise BA standards and governance frameworks.
Qualifications
Business Analysis Depth: 8+ years of dedicated professional experience as a Business Analyst delivering complex requirements for large-scale, multi-stakeholder enterprise programs.
Financial Services Background: Proven track record working within a major Financial Institution (FI) or banking environment.
Delivery Lifecycle Expertise: Advanced knowledge of project delivery practices across diverse frameworks, including traditional PDLC, Iterative, and Agile methodologies.
Risk & Governance Proficiency: Strong expertise in identifying requirement risks, mapping business rules, and adhering to enterprise project governance controls.
Communication & Facilitation: Exceptional verbal and written communication, leadership, and workshop facilitation skills, with an ability to tailor message delivery across diverse stakeholder groups.
Preferred Assets & Nice-to-Haves
Direct, hands-on experience in a Payments-focused role (e.g., real-time payments, wire systems, high/low-value clearing platforms, merchant services).
Experience with Agile requirements delivery (authoring user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria in Jira/Confluence).
Professional Business Analysis accreditation (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA certification).
