Responsibilities
- Document Business Requirements & Create Process Maps: Gather and document detailed business and technical requirements, and create process maps using tools like MS Visio and PowerPoint. Facilitate review sessions with business owners and end-user representatives.
- Lead Small to Medium-Sized Initiatives: Work closely with business teams to ensure the timely delivery of projects, actively participating in implementation planning, issue management, and change management.
- Test & Validate: Create and execute test cases and user acceptance testing (UAT) scripts. Manage and coordinate UAT with end-users to secure their signoff.
- Provide Training & Support: Prepare and deliver training documentation for end-users to ensure smooth adoption of new systems.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Research and identify industry trends to recommend and implement effective business solutions that align with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- A college diploma or bachelor's degree is required.
- Minimum of 1+ years of Business Analysis experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience preparing as-is and to-be process documentation, including performing detailed gap analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to have successfully completed technical projects, including data integration.
- Must be a self-starter with a keen interest in exploring and enabling new technologies, including AI/ML, Generative AI, and Cloud.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage small to medium-sized initiatives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor communications to different audiences.
- Experience in the utilities industry is considered an asset.
