Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Lead and support annual planning activities, developing program guidance, and creating robust business cases to support data centre service delivery.
- Operational Documentation: Contribute to technical policies, standards, and performance criteria; develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for hosting services.
- Analysis & Reporting: Produce executive-ready materials, including user stories, audit responses, and real-time dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Stakeholder Negotiation: Facilitate detailed solution design sessions and negotiate with business stakeholders to resolve functional design issues.
- Project Management Support: Deliver accurate project status reports, meticulously tracking finances, resources, milestones, risks, and issues.
- Communications & Training: Develop and lead branch-level communication plans and learning strategies to ensure organizational alignment and staff proficiency.
Qualifications
- Business Analysis Mastery: 5+ years of experience as a BA, specifically supporting data centre operations, hosting services, or comparable large-scale platforms.
- Technical Policy Expertise: Proven track record in developing technical guidelines, tools, and performance criteria for IT infrastructure.
- Public Sector Background: At least 2+ years of experience within the Ontario Public Sector (OPS) or similar government environments, including familiarity with provincial gating and compliance standards.
- Communication Excellence: Superior oral and written skills; experience drafting "executive-ready" communications and briefing notes.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience creating automated dashboards and utilizing project tracking software to manage complex finances and resources.
