Responsibilities
The Business Analyst works closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to create both business, functional and technical requirements for features and functionality to support our internal business needs and guest experiences.
Business and functional requirements gathering & document technical requirements
Prioritizing requirements based on business and technical needs
Assess configuration options to meet requirements and specifications
Aligning overall scope and sequencing recommendations with business stakeholders
Include dependency management and architectural decisions in requirements
Utilizing artifacts such as business requirements documents (BRDs), JIRA, Confluence and Business Process Documentation to facilitate requirements alignment sessions
Provide guidance and support to test strategy, plan and execution
Engages with engineers to design/configure solutions
Strong skills in cross-functional partnership and gaining alignment within constraints of the project or work
Qualifications
Excellent spoken and written communication skills
Post secondary degree in Accounting, Information Systems. Accounting designation preferred.
5+ years hands on global experience working in a Tier 1 Financial ERP system project - Oracle EBS, SAP, JDE is an asset
Accounts Receivable, Billing & Collection application knowledge & implementation experience is an asset
Experience providing requirements for medium to large initiatives
Strong QA experience
Experience with all aspects of project management, development & change management cycle
Experience working with both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
Proven facilitation and problem-solving skills
