Responsibilities
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with developers, general contractors, architects, and community housing leaders.
Build and nurture authentic, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, with a significant focus on respectfully engaging with Indigenous communities and their development corporations.
Conduct thorough needs-analysis with potential clients to understand their project goals, budgets, and specific requirements.
Manage the full sales pipeline from initial prospecting to lead qualification, ensuring a smooth hand-off to the senior sales team.
Act as a brand ambassador for our client at industry events, trade shows, and professional networking functions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and sales activities within the CRM system.
Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of proven B2B sales or business development experience, preferably within the construction, building materials, or prefabrication sector.
Demonstrable experience and cultural competency in working respectfully and effectively with Indigenous communities and organizations is essential.
An exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to various audiences.
A self-motivated and proactive individual with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Natural networking ability with a talent for building rapport and professional relationships.
Proficiency with CRM software and a commitment to organized pipeline management.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be available for regular travel throughout the assigned territory.
