Responsibilities
Supply Chain & Inventory Management
Coordinate with sales and warehouse to forecast and secure material requirements.
Manage purchase orders from entry to delivery, including tracking and follow-up.
Resolve issues related to material availability, delivery, and pricing.
Oversee material returns, restocking, and inventory adjustments, including processing customer credits.
Monitor and redistribute slow-moving or excess inventory, managing obsolete stock.
Assist with physical inventory counts.
Procurement & Cost Efficiency
Source materials and compare freight rates to optimize costs.
Negotiate and purchase office supplies and maintenance items.
Collaborate with company locations to ensure cost-effective purchasing and inventory.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain comprehensive manual and computerized records and spreadsheets.
Prepare and generate various reports.
Adhere to all Health and Safety guidelines and participate in relevant training.
Qualifications
Highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively.
Possesses a high degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
Computer proficient with strong mathematical skills.
College Diploma in Inventory/Supply Chain Management or a relevant discipline.
A minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in an inventory control or purchasing role.
