Responsibilities
-Manages the Asset & Development Project Management Office. Engages Consultants and service providers for Major capital and Operational projects across the association.
-Ensures contracts meet procurement and legal requirements.
-Manages consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the assigned projects.
-Provides project management support for the development, design and construction of new Facility Projects in Coquitlam, Surrey and South Vancouver
-Manages and coordinates consultant and contractor activities.
-Ensures company design and construction standards are followed
-Maintains accurate project records and supports internal and external projects audits.
-Coordinates and orders new office furniture and works with consultant on design
-Orders and coordinates all signage and installation.
Qualifications
- Prior experience related to overseeing facility capital projects (recreation, parks, housing etc.) highly desired
- Prior experience with administration and project compliance relating to construction/capital project work
