In this strategic consulting role, you will apply structured change management methodologies (Prosci ADKAR) to drive user adoption, stakeholder engagement, and operational readiness across complex organizational changes. Working closely with project management teams, senior executives, and people managers, you will conduct change impact assessments, craft comprehensive communication and training plans, and implement actionable resistance management strategies. Operating in a hybrid model out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, you will serve as a trusted change consultant—coaching leaders, evaluating user readiness, and tracking adoption metrics throughout the project lifecycle.
Duration: 4-Month Contract (Full-time hours: 8 hours/day, Monday–Friday)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days per week on-site at corporate offices in Winnipeg, MB)
Schedule: Core business hours (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM CDT)

Responsibilities
Change Strategy & Impact Assessment: Apply structured change management methodologies to assess change readiness, analyze organizational impacts, and build tailored adoption strategies.
Core Change Plan Development: Author and execute actionable deliverables across core change management plans, including Sponsor Plans, People Manager Plans, Communications Plans, and Training Plans.
Resistance Management & Mitigation: Identify anticipated and persistent resistance points, conducting root-cause analysis and designing targeted risk mitigation tactics.
Executive & Leadership Coaching: Consult and coach senior leaders and supervisors on their roles as change sponsors and coalition advocates.
Communication & Training Enablement: Enable the design, development, and delivery of clear, audience-appropriate communications, training programs, and presentation artifacts.
Project Plan Integration: Integrate change management milestones and activities seamlessly into master project schedules, tracking metrics and user readiness indicators.
Qualifications
Mandatory Certification: Active Prosci (ADKAR) certification and/or CCMP (Certified Change Management Professional) designation is strictly required.
Change Management Depth: Minimum 10 years of dedicated experience applying change management principles, methodologies, and structured tools.
Project Environment Experience: Minimum 8 years of recent experience working within structured project management environments on large-scale organizational change efforts.
Communication & Active Listening: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a proven track record of creating clear training and stakeholder materials.
Business Acumen & Adaptability: Strong organizational awareness, active listening, and root-cause problem-solving skills in fast-paced or ambiguous environments.
Technical Equipment Requirements: Must possess a Windows-based laptop with standard applications, licensed Microsoft Visio software, and a personal mobile communication device.
