Responsibilities
-Oversee and lead the full-cycle pre-construction cost estimation and tender process
-Conduct detailed reviews of all bids for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to technical specifications and contract language
-Propose and approve strategic bid development and constructability requirements
-Manage cost data, perform thorough risk assessments, and drive value engineering initiatives with project teams and external stakeholders
-Lead subcontractor and major vendor selection, negotiation and contract finalization
-Mentor, coach and develop your estimating team
-Hand over successful tenders to operations with clear risk/opportunity analyses
Qualifications
-Minimum of 15 years of experience in the ICI construction industry with 5 of those years in a senior estimating or leadership capacity
-5+ years of experience with complex, multi-million-dollar bids
-Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field
-Gold Seal Certification (GSC), LEED Accreditation, or Certified Cost Professional (CCP) designation is considered a significant asset
-Strong understanding of blueprints, cost-modeling methods and compliance standards
