The successful candidate will follow up with Plan Sponsors and Plan Members to obtain and verify documentation, ensure claim forms are fully completed, and answer any questions related to the claims process. You will also be responsible for setting up claims in the system according to contractual requirements and ensuring compliance with internal procedures. We are ideally looking for candidates who are bilingual (English/French) however unilingual (English only) talents are welcome to apply.
Start Date: 2 weeks from offer (as soon as possible!)

Responsibilities
- Review systems, claim documents, and contracts to confirm eligibility requirements are met.
- Contact Plan Sponsors and Plan Members within 24 hours of receiving initial claim information.
- Communicate via phone and email to verify discrepancies, missing, or unclear information.
- Issue declination letters when required.
- Adjudicate and manage short-duration (“Quick Pay”) claims.
- Transfer longer-term claims to Disability Case Managers for continued adjudication and benefit calculation.
- Accurately file and organize all claim-related documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or administrative role.
- Bilingual (English/French) candidates are preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand complex instructions and basic contractual language.
- Familiarity with basic medical terminology considered an asset.
- Strong data entry and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Proven attention to detail, organization, and time management abilities.
- Prior experience within the disability or insurance industry is an asset.
- Must be eligible for Protected B clearance.
