Location: Ajax, ON
Wage: $24.97 + Shift Premiums
Shift: Rotating Continental Shifts - 7 AM-7 PM and 7 PM-7 AM (two-week rotations)
*Week 1: 48 hours
*Week 2: 36 hours

Responsibilities
As a Clamp Truck Driver, your daily tasks will be essential to the distribution and production workflow. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a clamp truck and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to manage inventory within the warehouse.
- Loading finished goods onto trucks for shipment to customers, ensuring all products are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Accurately filling out and recording all product movements in the BPCS inventory management system.
- Unloading raw materials, primarily large paper rolls, received from suppliers via railcars or trucks.
- Delivering unloaded materials to the appropriate department or staging them at production presses as required to ensure constant operation.
- Communicating clearly with the Distribution Supervisor, Warehouse Leadhand, and Cycle Counter to ensure proper placement of inventory.
- Performing general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, including sweeping floors.
- Conducting daily pre-shift inspections on your forklift or clamp truck and completing the corresponding inspection sheet.
- Performing minor preventative maintenance, such as changing propane tanks or topping up oil as required.
- Re-piling good quality skids in the designated outdoor area.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of grade 12 education (or equivalent experience) is required
- 2-3 years of related experience operating a CLAMP Truck is required, lift truck, reach truck, or other material-handling equipment is an asset
- Externally Recognized lift truck license is preferred
- Basic computer skills - ability to learn computer applications (BPCS)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Safety conscious and observes all mobile equipment rules
- Self-motivated: Capable of working independently without constant supervision.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts and adapt to the needs of the business
- Great asset if you have a previous background in paper or printing manufacturing background
