Great shifts 7:30 am to 4pm Monday to Friday (potential for OT)
Full Time Permanent position
Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation
Operate heavy equipment
Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
Operate computer controlled equipment
Understand the purpose, proper usgage and information found on material safety data sheets (MSDS)
Complete onboard and other logs
Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
Perform minor repairs to equipment
Operate hydraulic pumping systems
Direct rig crew in setting up rigs and drilling, completing or servicing oil and gas exploration and producing wells
Qualifications
Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related role is mandatory.
Licenses & Certifications:
Driver's License (Class 1 or A) with Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
CPR and First Aid Certificate.
Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate.
Ground Disturbance - Level II program certification.
Physical Requirements: Ability to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs.) and work in physically demanding conditions.
personal Tools: Must own a cellular phone and steel-toed safety boots.
Security: A clean driving record (abstract) is required.
