We are currently looking for a CMM Quality Technician to join a growing manufacturing facility located in St.Thomas.
In order to considered for this role you must have at least 3-5 years of experience working in quality management, product testing and inspection.

Shifts: 1 x Days Monday to Friday 7am to 3:15pm & 1 x Afternoons Monday to Thursday 3pm to 1:30am
Payrate: $28-37
Location: St Thomas
In order to qualify for this role you must have prior working knowledge with Calypso and MCOSMOS

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and develop new product integration including gauging, ITP, first article inspection.
- Ability to run a CMM in both manual and auto mode.
- Ability to program CMM with Calypso & MCOSMOS software
- Conduct initial qualification testing of manufactured/machined products during preproduction and prototype stages.
- Assist in set up, provide required gauging and conduct First Off Inspections.
- Provide technical support for Machined, Welded and Assembled products.
- Participate in solving quality problems including supplier, internal, and customer.
- Ensure necessary quality-related tools and procedures are available, controlled and used correctly and efficiently
- Assist in conducting inspection and testing finished products, raw materials and subcontracted intermediate products.
- Ensure the orderliness, cleanliness and efficiency of the Quality Department.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in quality management, product testing or inspection (Experience acquired in Canada).
- Must be familiar with customer ISO, first article inspection and data entry tools.
- Must have a working knowledge of CMM programming, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) and be able to read blueprints.
- Must be proficient in the use of computers in the analysis of data.
- Must possess a working knowledge of manufacturing process control.
- Ability to pass a vision test for colour & acuity
- Proficiency in CMM programming and operation (Calypso, MCOSMOS).
- Proficiency in using hand tools for precision measurement (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Degree or diploma in Quality Technician, Engineering Technician or equivalent experience
- Certified Quality Technician (CQT) from ASQ or equivalent certification. (preferred)
