CNC Lathe Machinist - Okuma machines

Please note you must have prior experience working in a CUSTOMIZED machine shop with CNC lathe machining experience running Okuma machines.

Responsibilities
-ensure machines are set up to the appropriate standard
- machine the required parts using CNC lathe equipment
- perform repairs as set out by client specifications
- use Fusion360 to design and machine components


Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience working with manual machinery and CNC equipment running Okuma machines
- 3-5 years of experience programming CNC machines
- experienced with CNC lathe machines
- experience with 3 axis CNC
- previous experience in a custom machine shop environment
- proven experience working with precision measurement tools and interpreting blueprints and design sketches
- ability to work as a team member and independently with the ability to take initiative
- licensed as a machinist 429A is an asset
