Responsibilities
Set up, program (at the machine and/or offline), and operate CNC mills and lathes for precision components and tooling
Machine custom parts, fixtures, and prototypes with tight tolerances
Interpret detailed blueprints, GD&T, and 3D models
Select tooling, adjust offsets, and optimize feeds/speeds for efficiency and tool life
Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, indicators)
Troubleshoot machining issues related to quality, tooling, or process stability
Support continuous improvement initiatives and manufacturing optimization
Perform light preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong experience with CNC milling and/or turning (setup to completion)
Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and tolerances
Working knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Haas, or similar
Experience machining custom or low-volume precision components
Solid understanding of tooling, materials, and machining best practices
