Responsibilities
Precision Operation: Set up and run CNC laser cutting machines to produce high-tolerance components.
Technical Setup: Perform lens cleanings, nozzle changes, and beam alignments to ensure peak machine performance.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and execute complex industrial drawings, CAD files, and technical schematics.
Quality Assurance: Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify that every part meets strict specifications.
Material Handling: Safely load/unload metal sheets and maintain a streamlined workflow.
Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine daily machine checks and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications
Experience: At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in CNC Laser Setup and Operation.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with precision measuring tools and a strong ability to read blueprints.
Physical Capability: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.
Reliability: You have consistent transportation to the Brantford site and a "safety-first" mindset.
Education: High school diploma; a technical certificate in machining or fabrication is a significant plus.
Aptitude: Basic computer literacy and a sharp eye for detail.
