Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Oversee and operate CNC Press Brakes to produce high-quality metal components.
- Technical Setups: Perform comprehensive machine setups, ensuring all parameters meet specific engineering requirements.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and analyze complex blueprints to determine exact bend sequences and dimensions.
- Material Handling: Safely load raw materials and unload finished parts according to production schedules.
- Proactive Maintenance: Monitor machine sounds and vibrations to identify and prevent potential equipment issues.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections using precision tools including calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.
- Workspace Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe station, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with the supervisor and production teams to troubleshoot challenges and optimize manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in CNC Press Brake or Machine Operation.
- Reliability: A proven track record of dependability and excellent attendance.
- Technical Skill: Advanced proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting technical schematics.
- Precision: Expert-level use of measuring instruments to ensure 100% accuracy in tolerances.
- Aptitude: Strong mechanical reasoning and the ability to perform complex setups independently.
- Physicality: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the manual tasks required in a shop setting.
