CNC Programmer

The right application should have prior experience running both lathe and milling CNC machines, have prior exposure working with Fusion 360 and full understanding on how troubleshoot and run code

Location: St Thomas
Position: CNC Programmer
Shift: Days or Afternoons
Payrate: $35-40/hour

Please note you MUST have prior experience working with both lathes and mills and have had working knowledge with Fusion 360.

Responsibilities
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents to determine the best programming approach.
- Develop, write, and edit CNC programs for a variety of machines, including mills, lathes, and grinders.
- Simulate and test programs to ensure they meet quality and safety standards before production.
- Collaborate with engineers and machinists to troubleshoot and optimize programs, improving efficiency and reducing waste.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Esprit, SolidWorks).
- Prior experience working as a machinist with both lathes and mills
- Experience with Fusion 360
