Responsibilities
- Study drawings to plan sequences of steps for maximum efficiency
- Perform complex setups on CNC lathes involving very close tolerances
- Operate a wide range of tools and precision measuring instruments
- Program and operate CAD/CAM systems (Mastercam)
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and adjust as needed
- Complete all required shop documentation accurately and on time
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and attendance guidelines
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot issues and optimize production
- Other duties as assigned or requested
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency required
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a high-tolerance machining environment
- Ability to work 8-hour rotating shifts
- Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing & logistics setting
- Mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing & logistics environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
