In this role, you will be working with a team of 10 operators/labourers to perform chemical coatings to metal materials. You will need to have a keen eye for quality, computer skills (MS Office) and be able to perform labour tasks up to 50lbs all shift.

Straight afternoon shift - Monday to Friday - 2:30PM-11PM with breaks
Rate of pay is $23-25 per hour based on experience
2 weeks vacation in the first year + 5 sick days

Responsibilities
Apply chemical coatings to parts. Coating steel substrate parts with liquid alumina and blow off excess alumina on parts.
Material handling, machine operation, measuring weights with precise scales and data entry.
Load and unload parts from racks, skids, ovens, etc.
Count inventory.
Organize and maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area in a professional manner. Remove excess scrap.
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Working in chemical manufacturing for 2-3 years
Mixing or batching chemicals will be seen as an asset
Computer Skills are required for this role (MS Office)
Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Ability to work in a hot environment
