As a Cold Storage Shipper Receiver - SDCB Forklift professional, you will manage critical shipping and receiving tasks, utilize RF scanners, and ensure all health and safety protocols (HACCP and CFIA) are strictly followed.

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Time: 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM
Pay Rate: $23/hour

Responsibilities
• Operate a Sit-Down Counter Balance (SDCB) forklift and other power industrial trucks safely within the manufacturing & logistics facility.
• Perform accurate shipping and receiving of inbound and outbound shipments, verifying all freight against documentation.
• Conduct thorough inspections of packaging conditions and denote any damages, shortages, or quality issues on freight bills.
• Execute inventory management functions including labeling, sorting, and putting away stock in designated cold storage locations.
• Utilize RF scanners to track movement, complete tasks, and maintain real-time inventory accuracy.
• Monitor and record product temperatures at key intervals during the receiving and shipping process to ensure food safety.
• Verify that carrier reefer units are set to the correct temperatures before loading or unloading.
• Adhere strictly to HACCP and CFIA regulations to maintain the integrity of the federally inspected facility.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor and Operations Manager to execute daily operational plans.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency in the manufacturing & logistics workflow.
Qualifications
• Secondary Education (High School Diploma) or equivalent.
• Valid Forklift Certification (SDCB, Reach, and Walkie).
• Experience working in a cold storage or refrigerated environment (3°C to -22°C).
• Strong understanding of HACCP and CFIA safety protocols.
• Availability to work the full afternoon shift and required overtime.
• Professional and courteous demeanor, especially when interacting with CFIA representatives.
• Skyjack or First-aid certifications are considered strong assets.
