Responsibilities
Variation and Initial Margin Requirements
-Validate and issue margin calls in a timely and accurate manner
-Ensure the agreement and timely transfer of eligible credit support per CSA terms
-Manage non-cash collateral inventory and instruct/approve collateral movements via SWIFT, email, or fax
-Conduct intra-day cash forecasting and portfolio/collateral reconciliations
-Address margin disputes and inquiries; escalate issues as necessary
Operational Controls and Reporting
-Support business testing and system integration efforts
-Manage operational onboarding of counterparties
-Maintain and update client data and procedural documentation
-Prepare margin and funding reports and other ad hoc reports
Administrative Support
-Respond to internal/external audit requests
-Provide team coverage during planned absences
Qualifications
Must-Have:
-1–4 years’ experience in the financial industry, preferably in Capital Markets
-Solid understanding of OTC derivatives trade flow and lifecycle
-Working knowledge of collateral management systems and processes
-Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivots, lookups)
-Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
Nice-to-Have:
-Experience with ACADIA, TriOptima, COLLINE, and APEX
-Knowledge of VB Macros
-Familiarity with ISDA Master Agreements and CSA documentation
