Responsibilities
In this Collections Clerk role in Mississauga, you will hold the following responsibilities:
✅ Contact customers via phone, email, and written communication to collect outstanding payments
✅ Monitor accounts to identify overdue invoices and take appropriate action
✅ Negotiate payment plans and settlements while maintaining positive customer relationships
✅ Research and resolve billing disputes in a professional manner
✅ Maintain accurate records of collections efforts and update account statuses in the system
✅ Work closely with internal teams (AR, Sales, and Customer Service) to ensure seamless account resolution
✅ Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding collections
Qualifications
To be eligible for this Collections Clerk role in Mississauga, you will need the following qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of B2C Collections experience using a dialer system.
- Experience with major ERP systems is a great asset.
- Excellent English communication skills is required.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
