Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop and write compelling content for multiple platforms, including press releases, blog posts, social media updates, website copy, newsletters, and internal communications.
- Strategy and Planning: Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive communication plans, aligning with the company's marketing and business goals.
- Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, pitch story ideas, and coordinate interviews to secure positive media coverage.
- Internal Communications: Support internal communication efforts by drafting company-wide announcements, presentations, and other materials to ensure employees are informed and engaged.
- Project Management: Manage multiple communication projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Reporting and Analysis: Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication initiatives, providing regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a communications-focused role, with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating writing and content creation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Proven experience in media relations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency with Adobe is a must.
- Experience in the education industry is a plus.
