Construction Labourer

Advantages
Pay Rate: $25/hr
Location: Whitby, ON
Shifts: Monday to Friday - Day shift or Afternoon shift available
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-Permanent
Start Date: Monday, June 22nd, 2026


Responsibilities
- Safely utilizing hand and power tools, such as impact drills and grinders, to remove casings and forms from large items.
- Collaborating closely with your team to optimize assembly line efficiency and maintain daily production momentum.
- Managing your assigned station autonomously to ensure a steady, independent workflow.
- Pouring, smoothing, and finishing concrete mixtures into designated molds and forms.
- Preparing, cleaning, and lubricating molds and machinery before and after each production cycle.
- Operating material handling equipment, such as overhead cranes, forklifts, or pallet jacks, to safely move heavy components around the facility.
- Upholding rigorous workplace safety, organization, and quality control standards, including routine housekeeping of your work area.

Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a construction, assembly, or heavy manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrate confident and safe operation of hand and power tools, specifically drills and impact guns.
- Comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment that can be hot, dusty, and physically demanding.
- Capable of repeatedly lifting 40–50 lbs throughout the duration of the shift.
- Possess a proven track record of excellent workplace attendance and punctuality.
- Able to successfully pass a criminal background check as a condition of employment.
