Responsibilities
Take full ownership of end-to-end accounting activities across both Canadian and U.S. operations
Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial close cycles, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes
Prepare and deliver consolidated financial reporting packages aligned with IFRS standards
Provide oversight for daily transactional functions, including accounts receivable and accounts payable
Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, ensuring a smooth and well-prepared audit process
Build and continuously refine a robust costing framework to support accurate inventory valuation and margin analysis
Collaborate closely with plant operations to assess production variances, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and enhance financial performance
Qualifications
Designated accounting professional (CPA)
7–10 years of deepening financial experience, ideally within product-based or manufacturing environments
Minimum 3–5 years guiding teams or overseeing core accounting functions
Strong grasp of international reporting standards and cross-border financial operations (Canada/U.S., multi-currency)
