Responsibilities
Data entry into the company's point of sale system
Create, mail, merge documents with accuracy and completeness
As directed, send policy cancellation letters by registered mail
Premium calculations on property insurance policies
Meet KPI’s for conversion data
Provide broker support for underwriters, including but not limited to contacting brokerages following up on missing information or duplicated declaration pages
Filing and photocopying documents, as well as other administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative role and call center/customer service
High school diploma and some post-secondary education
Experience with MS Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
Experience in the insurance industry is an asset
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Strong attention to detail when processing repetitive tasks
Data entry accuracy
Professional, friendly, and courteous in all interactions with customers and colleagues
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and remains calm under pressure
