As a Creative Operations Manager, you will lead the development and execution of creative operations strategies, ensuring every project moves seamlessly through intake, briefing, production, and delivery. You will take a holistic view of all tasks, focusing on operational excellence by optimizing processes and fostering collaboration across creative and marketing teams. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in project management tools and strong leadership skills to elevate the team's creative output through data-driven recommendations and process automation.

Responsibilities
Creative Workflow Management:
• Design, implement, and continuously improve creative workflows for intake, briefing, review, and approvals.
• Establish clear processes for prioritization, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
• Ensure creative teams have clarity on timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Monitor workflow performance and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
Project & Operations Leadership:
• Oversee all creative projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with brand and business objectives.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and status updates across multiple platforms.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Partner with marketing ops, brand strategy, web development, paid media, social media, and other channel leads to align creative output with campaign goals.
• Act as the primary liaison between creative teams and business stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication.
• Support the integration of creative assets into Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems and other tools.
Process & Technology Optimization:
• Evaluate and implement project management tools and systems to streamline workflows.
• Develop reporting dashboards to track operational metrics, resource utilization, and project performance.
• Champion best practices for creative operations across the organization.
Qualifications
• Creative Project Experience: Proven experience specifically managing creative projects within an agency or in-house environment.
• Professional Experience: 5+ years in creative operations, project management, or agency account management.
• Workflow Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in creative workflow design and process optimization.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in project management tools such as Workfront, Asana, or SmartSheet.
• Collaboration & Communication: High level of collaboration skills for cross-functional environments and excellent verbal/written communication.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
• In-house Agency Experience: Previous experience working within an internal creative department.
• Certification: PMP or other Project Management Certification.
• System Knowledge: Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
• Campaign Experience: Familiarity with integrated marketing campaigns and end-to-end campaign ownership.
