Position: Credit Application Analyst
Shift: Rotation- Hours between 8 am and 7 pm, 1 Saturday every 4-5 weeks. Schedules out 1 month in advance
Salary: $20.77/hour
Location: Markham 4 days onsite

Responsibilities
• Providing operational support to the Sales Channel and Credit Underwriting function, ensuring submission quality and document compliance.
• Reviewing, updating, and analyzing credit documentation for accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Completing responsibilities associated with Real Estate Secured Lending products, involving single to multiple steps across several systems and applications.
• Providing guidance and support to business partners or customers on credit products.
• Ensuring complete and accurate data input into the origination system.
• Reconciling, verifying, and processing credit support materials.
• Reviewing credit files and records to answer requests for information.
• Prioritizing and managing workload to meet SLA requirements.
• Understanding and applying credit operating policies and procedures.
• Following internal and industry regulations and operating practices.
• Escalating non-standard or high-risk activities.
• Ensuring accuracy of documentation and compliance with relevant rules/regulations.
• Completing investigations and reporting/escalating risk issues or process gaps.
• Identifying and recommending opportunities to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in a professional/corporate environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Post-secondary education.
• Mortgage experience is a plus.
