As a Credit Application Analyst, your day-to-day focus will be on the operational support and analysis of Real Estate Secured Lending (RESL) products.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Provide operational support to the Sales Channel and Credit Underwriting function, maintaining a Customer Centric mindset.
Review, update, and analyze all credit documentation for accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policy.
Accountable for completing a range of responsibilities associated with RESL products across multiple systems and applications.
Ensure complete and accurate data input into the origination system to assist in loan documentation preparation.
Reconcile, verify, and process all required credit support material/documentation for credit transactions.
Key Accountabilities
Customer: Provide guidance and support to business partners on credit products. Ensure business partner/customer problems are handled in a timely manner and escalate as necessary. Interpret credit policies and legal requirements to ensure loan documents meet applicable standards.
Shareholder: Prioritize workload to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Support business partners by collecting, reviewing, and analyzing all credit documentation for accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements. Ensure documentation is accurate and reflects business intentions.
Employee / Team: Participate fully in the team, contributing to a positive work environment and supporting knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
Previous experience working in a professional / corporate environment.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for interacting with internal partners.
Strong problem-solving skills to analyze documentation and resolve issues.
Must be local to the work location (Pacific Centre, Vancouver) and able to adhere to the required 4 days a week onsite policy.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Previous experience or foundational knowledge in Mortgage Lending concepts.
Education
Post-secondary education required.
