Job Description
As a Cube Truck Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting essential products and building materials safely across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding Ontario markets. Operating a 16-foot cube truck or larger commercial vehicle, you will execute multi-stop routes efficiently while providing a stellar front-line customer experience at every destination. This hands-on position requires active material handling, careful verification of route manifests, and direct communication with dispatch teams to optimize daily supply chain performance.

Responsibilities
• Safely operate a 16-foot cube truck or larger commercial vehicle to complete daily scheduled route deliveries across the GTA.
• Load, unload, and hand-bomb materials safely, managing multi-stop distributions and handling partial pallet deliveries.
• Verify truck cargo and delivery contents meticulously against pick slips prior to warehouse departure to maximize order accuracy.
• Ensure all transported products are securely anchored, strapped, and protected prior to departure and monitored throughout the transit route.
• Perform comprehensive daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting and reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Obtain necessary customer signatures, structural photos, and digital proof-of-delivery confirmations at drop-off locations.
• Maintain open, real-time communication with the dispatch office regarding route delays, access barriers, short shipments, or returns.
• Adhere stringently to provincial road safety requirements, regional highway laws, and internal safe material handling policies.
Qualifications
• Valid, clean Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence with a demonstrated history of safe vehicle operation.
• An official commercial vehicle insurance letter from your current insurance provider.
• Full eligibility to be registered and fully covered under the commercial fleet vehicle insurance policy.
• Prior professional experience in a distribution, logistics, warehousing, or building supplies environment is highly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification preferred.
• Willingness to perform physical hand-bombing and work actively in a fast-paced manufacturing & logistics landscape
Skills
• Proficient spatial awareness and defensive driving mechanics required to handle large commercial box trucks safely.
• Excellent route planning capabilities and deep, practical working knowledge of GTA roads, 400-series highways, and the 407.
• Strong physical endurance, including the regular ability to lift, carry, push, and pull inventory loads weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Exceptional attention to structural detail to verify picking documents and prevent discrepancies in inventory shipping.
• Polished interpersonal communication skills and a service-focused demeanor when interacting with site staff and contractors.
• Sound organizational skills needed to manage delivery manifests, return protocols, and structural vehicle documentation.
