Responsibilities
The customer experience shipper and receiver is responsible to:
- Proactively monitor and expedite production jobs through the lab to ensure timely completion and shipment.
- Accurately prepare, package, and process all outgoing shipments of completed optical jobs.
- Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other required documentation with a high degree of precision.
- Coordinate with various courier services for pickups and resolve any potential shipping issues.
- Utilize internal tracking systems to trace and locate optical frames and orders within the facility.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal team members regarding order status and priorities.
- Perform quality checks on outgoing products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming materials and supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in the shipping and receiving area.
