We are currently hiring a Customer Service Representative to work for an HVAC distribution company in Halton Hills . This is a permanent opportunity and the ideal candidate would have a strong customer service background and possess the professional skills necessary to interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner. Great attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure are required for this role.

Responsibilities
- Answer customer inquiries promptly, efficiently and professionally.
- Access and accurately direct customer inquiries to appropriate department to resolve customer issues that extend beyond product availability, parts and quotes.
- Provide information regarding parts and product availability
- Accurately compile, log and issue small quotes (under 50 units) as per company guidelines.
- Track, document and file customer inquiries obtaining enough information to ensure customer resolution within 48 hours.
- Monitor and respond to customer emails within 24 hours of receipt.
- Work with internal resources to obtain and provide up to date product information to customers.
- Responsible for placing requests, organization, maintaining inventory and distribution of company marketing materials.
- Assist with company trade shows and marketing events as required.
- Research and maintain working knowledge of competitors products for cross reference where required.
- Assist with translation of incoming requests as needed via company assigned services.
- Process claim forms as per company guidelines.
- Work in co-ordination with inventory control to ensure that obsolete inventory listing is current for sell offs and clearance.
- Support Company initiatives and special projects as needed.
- Additional administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
- Post secondary education or 3-5 years of related experience.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Bilingual (Enlgish/French) is an asset but not required
- The ability to multi task and handle multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated PC skills including Microsoft Office and ability to research information on internet.
